Happy First Birthday Dylan!!!!

Amy on her way to her doctor appointment that ended up being the day Dylan was born.

Just born.

Two days later, looking a little better.

Dylan and his Momma now!

Dylan is with his dad tonight (GGRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR) but we all got up at 12:37 am and ate a piece of his left over smash cake in honor of his first birthday. I already had the post ready and hit "Publish Post" at exactly 12:37 am.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY BABY BOY! WE LOVE YOU SO MUCH!

Too good, Nee Nee. I love how you started with Amy Jo pregnant (I barely remember her looking like that -- but she did) then going through Dylan being born, each month's picture and then ending with a great picture of momma and "the bun, uh boy, that was in the oven!" He is too much and there probably isn't a better loved little boy in the world. Sissy Sharon's poem really said it very well.

Prayer: Father we thank You for this day - Dylan's 1st birthday - a very special day. And we thank You for the blessing of having him in our lives. You have blessed our family more than our words can express thanks to You. You have allowed us, once again, to embrace innocence and know pure love as expressed by smiles, hugs, laughter, jabbering, rolling, crawling, walking and (almost) running and seeing the wonder and exhilaration on his precious little face when he realizes he has done something new or something new has happened that has never happened to him before. He is such a joy and our lives are so much fuller because of him. Thank You for our daily blessings of our family and friends, and for knowing that You are with us and will never leave us. We do love You and acknowledge that we need You everyday, more today than yesterday. Father, I ask Your blessings on my family, my church family, my friends and myself. And, again, I thank You for my precious great-nephew, Dylan. I bless him in Your name that he will grow up to honor and serve You. Father, keep us and use us to bring honor and glory to You. I ask these blessings in Your Most Holy and Righteous Name. Amen and Amen
