You don't know what you've got til it's gone....

Okay, I know the title is a little dramatic, but I NEVER realized how much I depended on pictures to tell a story for me. Sure, I added some cute headings and such, but I rely way too much on pictures to give updates on Dylan. He actually does things whether we get a photo of him doing it or not! Just because our "good" camera is out of commission and our "grainy" camera is all we are running on (which makes me feel, "Why bother?" unless it is a REALLY cute situation) doesn't mean I can't give updates on our little fella. They will just temporarily be without as many pictures.

For starters, as I look to my left, I have a lawn mower which has 'mowed' over a diaper, a turtle, a train and a blanket. To my right, I have 50 brand-spanking new big wooden ABC blocks scattered to the 4 corners of the Earth, along with about 15 books of various shapes and sizes. Plus more trains and turtles, balls, 2 rubber duckies, a night shirt, a potty chair (which is empty, but I digress), a musical Winnie the Pooh, and Walter the Duck in the window to announce to Dylan's "peeps" that he is asleep. (Dylan's peeps are Susie and Uncle Troy, by the way.)

Poppy is also snoozing, but there is no signal to the peeps for that yet. Just call at your own risk on that one.

I think I shall look back to the left, for it is much neater on that end of the living room. Plus that is where the tv is, and ER is on. The old ones. With George Clooney. And Dr. Mark. Sigh.

Speaking of hospitals, I will be out of town for a dr. appointment myself for a couple of days, and I will try to schedule my FFF (if I just don't go ahead and post it before we leave later today. Depends.) and see if it actually posts when it is supposed to. Please remember me in prayer for my dr. visit that all will go well. Nothing too serious, but I am nervous slightly. Slightly being an understatement of the year, of course. But that is just me. I get nervous changing shoes. OKAY, maybe that is an overstatement, but you get the drift. :)

And when I get back to town, it will be PARTY CENTRAL here as we hit the home stretch for Aunt Willie's Big 6-O party that takes place next weekend! CAN'T WAIT! Got the cake pan I needed and the final decoration preparations I needed yesterday, so busy we shall be!

With or without pictures, you still tell a good story, although, i love watching Dylan grow and seeing the antics he gets into from day to day!

Huh?

Doctor?

What?

Now I'm nervous...

Especially if it isn't George Clooney or Noah Wyle...

Praying it goes perfect for you!

I talked with Susie a little while ago so I know you are home but wasn't going to bother your household just in case you all were resting. I hope things went well at the doctor's appt. We'll talk more about that later. I have to agree with Alva Mae, even without pictures you tell a great story. I could just see all the stuff all over the place that the little boy, boy had been playing with. Now to teach him how to PUT IT ALL UP when he is finished!!! He may be a little young for that concept yet but maybe not. I just realized that it is next Wednesday when we are coming home. A few days ago it seemed like I had DAYS to get things done in and now I only have 4 left. Gotta get those speech bubbles done!!! I have some cute ones already and a few more to do. Well, hope you get some rest tonight. We will talk later. Love you muchly!!!!

I agree with Alva Mae, you do good work without pics. Of course we do miss the pics but until you can do better we will be patient. Love you much, Mom (Grammy)
