UPDATE on Benji

I spoke with Lowella last night, and Benji has been admitted into Cleveland Clinic until perhaps Monday. They staff did a CT Scan that revealed that the abscess HAD returned to about half of it's original size, and a new one was beginning. They were able to lance the new small abscess, and the doctors have pumped Benji FULL of antibiotics to help with the inflammation of the abscess. They did not send Benji home with the proper medications to begin with, so all this could have possibly been avoided, but we will just trust that this is all part of God's plan for Benji. This way the new abscess was removed, anyway. Who knows what that could have prevented. Benji's excruciating pain has been relieved, but has been replaced with extreme nausea from the overload of antibiotics. But, overall, all are pleased that the pain is relieved and the situation is being taken care of. The nauseousness can be worked with easier, at least.

Even though I am sure she is still wishing she could be there and such, you could hear some peace in Lowella's voice. That lets me know prayers ARE getting through. Please continue to pray for Benji's well being, nauseousness, and healing path with hands from Earthly doctors as well as the Great Physician.
