Welcome to Not Me Monday! Brought to us by MckMama, enjoyed by many.
It was not me who just got excited when I realized I do have a "new" picture of Dylan to post today when I thought I did not. That would be silly.
This is not Dylan all crashed out at Nee Nee's after VBS the other night.
It is not me who has STILL not responded to my lovely bloggy friends like I have intended too. Rachel, Julie, Terri, Brenda (jane), Cuzzin Robyn, Alva Mae, Aunt Woo Woo, etc, I am so thankful to all of Dylan's fans and for the interaction we have through the bloggy world. I just haven't shown it very well lately.
It is not me who just ate four (technically five if you count the raw one) cinnamon rolls at 2 something in the morning. That would be ridiculous.
It was not me who gave Dylan a hair cut/trim this past Friday before he went to his paternal side of the family (cause they always cut his hair if it is "too long" to suit them) and he did not love it AT FIRST. Then he did not get a better look in the mirror and break out in a screaming fit of NO NEE NEE CUT BABY'S HAIR! for about 5 solid minutes. It was not him who went back into said screaming fit at the mere mention or recollection of said haircut. We have not laughed about this until we cried. I am not (perhaps for real!) ever cutting his hair again.
Dylan's favorite new phrase is not "Hold this." as he hands you whatever he is carrying, from something small like fuzz to something as large as a broom.
Dylan did not point out just about each and every single coal truck, super large truck, work truck, etc, as he looked out the window at KFC the other night when we were having an early Father's Day dinner with Poppy. There is only about a gazillion vehicles that Dylan puts into the category of "Big!!!!!" and he shouts it like it is the first time he has ever saw a big truck each and every single time.
It was not Grammy that I caught Sunday driving "all the way" around our town (which took all of 30 seconds, if that) so she would pass a certain parking lot with two "bigs" parked in them and they would be on Dylan's side of the car, so he could more easily see them. He is not that spoiled or rotten.
It was not me who nearly ran off the road honking at Chester Sunday night as he traveled home in his "big" truck and I traveled back to my apartment. I had not been looking for him cause I knew I was gonna pass him, and still basically missed him anyway, then nearly ran off the road looking in my rear view mirror. I mean, it's just Chester and he has only drove a "big" truck for like 20 years, so I am TOTALLY used to passing him by now. Ahem.
It is not me who GET'S TO GO SEE THE PHILLIES NEXT TUESDAY and is counting down the minutes!!!!!!!!!!! They play the Cincinnati Reds in Columbus, and Sonya & her family and I are traveling there to cheer on the Reds/Phillies. (Me the Phillies, them the Reds.) I do not have a special shirt made for just this occasion. I do not have secret plans to kidnap one Mr. Chase Utley (okay, okay, I really DON'T) and take him back home with me. Nope, Not Me!
It is not me who cannot wait to see Toy Story 3 this coming weekend. I can't believe I didn't get out to see it opening weekend. Not me!
It is not me who is down to one fish (Jacob) and said fish is not about to drive himself crazy circling the tank like that fish in Finding Nemo who lost her reflection when the tank got dirty. It is not me who plans on getting him some tank-mates tomorrow, if doesn't go crazy by then.
It is not me who is out of "not me's!"
Happy Monday everyone!

I love the haircut story!! That's so cute. Jake likes to pull that, too!
And, yay for MLB! I'm going to a Astros/Giants game on Wednesday night. While I'm actually a Braves fan, I still enjoy any MLB game I can go to!
NeeNee Lisa, i hope you have a rip roaring good time at the Phillies vs Reds game! I also hope it's not 100 degrees so you will actually be able to enjoy said game! Man it's hot here!
Dylan is getting soooooooo big, i didn't even realize that was him in the pic at first! Doesn't seem possible.
AND, maybe you should rethink the next haircut, lol.. that was too funny!
Alva Mae

MOMMA AMY
Hey NeeNee it is not grammy checking out not me monday and enjoying it all. Dylan is taking up most of your bed he is getting so big. By the way you did a great job on the hair even tho the little stink had second thoughts about his opinion. He is something else. And driving all around town is small compared to what us Grammys will do for our babies. So glad your tank is more populated than it was. Its looking really good. Now Edward won't be lonely or drive himself crazy. Oh by the way again. my dear-------you're going to Cincinnati to watch the game---not Columbus unless a lot has changed since a few years back. I know they have a ball-park I've not been in, but I'm almost sure its in Cincy also. Just sayin'. Oh well all in all your post was really great. Keep'um coming. Love Grammy.
