VBS for Dylan!

This past week, Dylan went with his Nee Nee to a near by church that was having Vacation Bible School. This church is right beside where Sonya & Lillian live, and Lillian usually goes to their VBS in the summer as well as our own church's, so Dylan and I tagged along one night. He had a blast!

Putting in the "BOYS" offering with Sonya.

Don't you just love his pirate hat?

This is one of the twins, Jessie. Josh is being shy beside her. I just love them. They are so adorable.

Dylan in his class, reluctantly giving back his pencil.

Take 1 of MANY in an attempt at a group shot!

Josh, the other twin, not feeling very photogenic at the moment.

This is what Dylan did when I yelled, "Show Nee Nee your teeth!" which USED to produce a smile!

Music class. Dylan was not too impressed. He did, however, enjoy dancing with Lillian's class. I didn't get a picture, though.

On to more snacks and crafts.

"I DO NOT want you to take my picture AGAIN, Nee Nee!"

Mr. Grumpy pants! And can you believe that one of the old ladies helping with crafts had the guts to tell me "He didn't fix his ship exactly right...." She can be thankful I was at a visiting church, or they might have needed to lay hands on me or something, after I got finished "laying hands" on her. Idiot. He's TWO. I think his ship is divine, which I told her.

Everyone (well, about 75% of everyone) doing the final dismissal for the night.

Dylan had a blast, but unfortunately only got to attend that one night. Hopefully he will get to make it to more at Silver Creek when we have our VBS.

Happy Friday!

Oh my gosh, that woman really said that?! What an oaf. He is too cute and I love the "look" he is giving you when he gets tired of the camera.

NeeNee, you'd best watch out, that look he gave you was pretty rough!☺ ☺ ☺ ☺ He looked like he was just tired though.

Can't believe that mean lady said he didn't do his ship right, what a boor. You were very nice not to mow her down!!! Exactly what was it she expected from 2 year olds?

Enjoyed your VBS story and the pics, thanks!

I was here the other day but didn't have time to leave a comment and almost don't now but must say our little boy boy is absolutely the cutest one at this VBS but then he would be the cutest one at any VBS! And, I do so agree with you and Alva Mae about the lady (word used loosely) who said his ship was not exactly done right. Who, just WHO, does she think she is????? It wouldn't have mattered what it looked like, it would have been RIGHT!!!! Good thing I wasn't there, too, Nee Nee. Containing two "Maynard's" might have been more than they could have handled!
