This past weekend, Dylan, Nee Nee and Aunt Susie were very busy! Susie and I took Dylan to the Harvest Fest in Inez on Friday night. It was a great evening. Unfortunately, Grammy and Mommy were too sick to go.
We ran into Dylan's Uncle Shannon and Aunt Lori. They were very excited to see their little buddy, of course. He had grown quite a bit since the last time they saw him.
He liked Uncle Shannon's cowboy hat! We think he kinda looks like Festus here!
"No, Uncle Shannon, you can't have it back just yet......"
Susie and I took Dylan on his first ever hay ride! His Grammy had hoped J.C. Ramey would be his first hay ride driver, but Billy Chapman was a good second choice!

Time to go! Uncle Troy was afraid Dylan would get too cold! (Uncle Troy wasn't there, but put his request in via cell phone!)
Then on Sunday, Aunt Susie and Nee Nee decided to be brave again! Grammy and Mommy were still too sick to go. It was also Granny & Pawpaw's wedding anniversary. They would have been married 68 years.

All in all, we had a great weekend. The fall weather was perfect! We just wish Grammy and Mommy (aka Rosemary and Amy) had been feeling good and had got to join us in all the fun.
