Favorite Foto Friday - "MERY CHRISTMAS" - LOL

To me, NOTHING says Christmas like an old fashion Christmas play with toddlers misspelling words and fighting over who gets to hold what letter and who can hold it the highest. I myself held one of these letters many moons ago, and can't wait until Dylan gets to hold one for himself. I love the little belly of the holder of "M"... too cute! And of course the little girl and boy fighting over the "A." You can't tell so much in the picture, but there was quite a battle over that one! And poor little Cody (all the way to the right in the green jumpsuit) just gave up and let Nevaeh hold the last "S" all by her self. And of course what display is complete without the puppet miestro? Notice him on the little piano over the boy in the red sweatshirt? How cute is that? He was "playing" the music for their song.

Lillian Kay (far right), my friends daughter, and some other girls singing "Jingle Bells"

"Nee Nee, I said Give me that camera!"

Still not scared, but still no smile..... grrrrr

Oh, well, at least he isn't screaming!

Brings back memories of long ago. We didn't have anything like that at my church this year. The kids in Children's Church sang for us yesterday morning and did a great job. And, last night, we were to meet in the Fellowship Hall and bring "goodies" for a time of memories - singing Christmas carols (out of the SONG BOOK), reading the Christmas story, and then folks telling a memory of one of their favorite Christmases and then, of course, eating the "goodies". The reason I said, "we were to meet" is I didn't go. We had Christmas dinner and Christmas gift swapping with Lorenzo, Karen (his girl), Lawrence, Roy, Tonette and me. It was a good evening. Lawrence looks well and seems to be doing good.

It seems our little boy just takes things in stride. A lot of kids are scared half out of their wits when they see Santa and he just sits there. Of course, I'm sure if he sat long enough he would have the beard and hat on his head or some such other thing as that since it is my understanding (and my memory) that he is quite aggressive in getting what he wants.

And, by the way, in that shirt and jeans he looks like a little country bumpkin - and of course, no shoes...............

But, he is my heart. If the weather cooperates, and all that other stuff, we hope to see you all on Thursday. Say a prayer for traveling mercies.

We love you all. Aunt Willie and Tonette
