Today, I found out that a girl I have known since the 6th grade had been missing since Monday morning after dropping her little boy of at school. He is 7. As it goes with most people after school, you don't always keep in touch, unless you are family or really close friends. Within moments of finding out she was missing, we found out Michelle was found dead. In a refrigerator. By her father. That leaves me with a feeling of indescribable disbelief. How could a daddy have to see such a sight? Why didn't the other rescue searchers find her, instead of him? How much torture can a family take? Who am I to question.
All I know is they just made an arrest a little while ago of her husband, who she was seeking divorce from. I guess he must have not handled it well. I do not know the situation at all, but I know their family, and especially her son, needs prayers desperately. The family is beyond distraught, naturally.
I don't claim to have kept close contact with Michelle over the years since graduation, but my heart is sorrowed for her family this evening, for her seemingly early exit of this world, and for her little boy. I hope justice is brought to this situation, for all involved.

Oh gosh, Lisa. That is absolutely horrible. Will definitely send a word up for this family. What a sad and unfortunate event.
Your compassionate and caring heart shows through your words, dear niece. We will keep the Stroud family in prayer.

What a nightmare, and it's happening way too much and it seems to be wide spread. The old devil is working overtime. My prayers for her little boy and family!

This has been a nightmare and I can't imagine what those poor people are going thru. You did a beautiful and caring post, NeeNee. Of course we will all be remembering the family. I can't hardly think of anything else. May God grant them the strength and peace to endure. Love and prayers, Grammy
GOOD JOB ON THE POST, I THINK WE'VE ALL BEEN IN A FOG THIS PAST WEEK. YOU AND I BOTH ARE CONNECTED TO HER THROUGH A FAMILY MEMBER OR SOMETHING LIKE THAT, I USED TO BE BEST FRIENDS WITH HER FIRST COUSIN. ALL I CAN SAY IS GOD BE WITH THE FAMILY, AND I HOPE THE EVIL MAN WHO DID THIS GETS WHATS COMING TO HIM. ANY BODY WHO CAN KNOCK SOMEONE OUT, DRAG THEM FROM THEIR CAR TO ANOTHER VEHICLE, AND THEN SHOOT THEM SEVERAL TIMES IS A MONSTER, AND LIFE ISN'T GOOD ENOUGH FOR THEM!!!!
